What this version stores
Your saved game IDs and basic game report information are stored in your browser’s local storage. They are not attached to an account or automatically synchronized between devices. You can export a file or share a link containing game IDs and explicitly import it on another device. Anyone who receives a shared link can see that selection. Links use the URL fragment; imported IDs are sent to the server to fetch game reports. Removing a saved game updates the list; clearing site data in your browser removes the watchlist.
Search and public data
Game names and App IDs entered into the search tools are sent to our server and then to Steam to answer the query. Game reports also request public historical summaries from Steam Charts. The server caches game data and observations; this information is not a record of your personal gaming activity. Opening a verified report also stores its public game ID, enrollment date and aggregate request timing to schedule ongoing collection. The schedule does not store visitor identities, and removing a local watchlist item does not remove the public game from collection. Review collection stores aggregate counts, not review text or reviewer identities.
Some Steam artwork, particularly wider-catalog search results, loads from Steam’s content delivery services. Those requests disclose ordinary network information such as your IP address to the image provider. Artwork for the original featured games is served locally; discovered games can use Steam-hosted images.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
This version does not set tracking cookies or load third-party analytics, AdSense, or advertising scripts. The visible ad units are inactive placement previews. Hosting providers may retain ordinary request and security logs according to their own configuration.
If analytics or advertising is enabled in the future, this notice and the relevant consent controls must be updated before those scripts load.
